Keepers are 'grey alien' like creatures originating in the Diorite system, genetically repurposed to act as watch dogs for whoever they work for. They can shape-shift and wipe memories, and are often used to infiltrate worlds when secrecy and discretion are required. They have rings that shoot energy, which they use as weapons.
